Despite decades of leadership training, organizational consulting, motivational psychology, and employee engagement initiatives, millions of employees worldwide still report rising stress, emotional exhaustion, disengagement, and a growing sense of disconnection from work.
I am now working on my third book, gathering information and conducting longitudinal studies to understand how the average worker experiences work. For example, are people excited about going to work?
I also intend to reveal, through the book, how current mindsets on subjects such as management and leadership affect employees' experiences at work. For example, do management and leadership practices bring out the best in people, making the organization more profitable?
The text will also reveal the impact of the solutions offered by consultants, trainers, and other practitioners over time on people's experience of work. For instance, what has been and is the impact of the services provided by consulting firms, practitioners, and academics?
My goal is to better understand what helps people thrive meaningfully, work more intentionally, and bring out the best in themselves and others.
Have Initiatives Generated Healthier and More Meaningful Work Experiences?
Unfortunately, the findings are sobering. Across the world, stress, worry, and frustration at work continue to rise. Even with advances in leadership development and workplace psychology, most employees still report feeling stressed and disengaged from their work.
How can this be?
But what if the issue is deeper than motivation, incentives, or workplace perks?
What if meaningful clarity — how people understand themselves, work, leadership, and purpose — plays a far greater role than we realize?
I believe and know that work -- under the right conditions -- has the potential to become a place of growth, contribution, clarity, collaboration, and meaningful human flourishing.
If these concerns resonate with you, I would like to invite you to join me for a free interactive webinar where we will explore:
why so many workplaces still struggle despite decades of interventions,
how Meaningful Purpose Psychology explains these patterns,
and what creates and sustains healthier, more meaningful, and more sustainable workplace experiences.
I would love to welcome you.
